The Class C precision filter features a piston-type filter element sealed to the housing to prevent unfiltered gas from bypassing the filter; it also features a corrosion-resistant filter element; a stainless steel core for enhanced structural integrity and performance; low airflow resistance; seam welding for increased strength; a new "matrix hybrid fiber" media; a large effective surface area for improved filtration efficiency; a large open area to minimize pressure drop; a membrane-coated closed foam sleeve; resistance to chemical corrosion from oils and acids; prevention of coalesced liquids from re-mixing into the airflow, ensuring high-efficiency filtration; chemically resistant end caps bonded to the media with a special adhesive; silicone-free; and capable of withstanding temperatures up to 66°C.
