The continuous horizontal vacuum belt filter uses filter cloth as the filtration medium and efficiently achieves solid-liquid separation by fully utilizing the gravity of the material and the suction force generated by vacuum. The equipment adopts an integral detachable filter tray as the vacuum chamber, while the filter cloth is continuously driven by a motor.
At the beginning of the filtration cycle, the filter tray operates synchronously with the filter cloth under a vacuum condition. When the vacuum is released, the filter tray and filter cloth move relative to each other. The slurry is evenly distributed onto the filtration belt of the vacuum filter tray through a slurry distributor. Under the action of vacuum suction, the slurry on the filter cloth undergoes filtration.
The filtration continues until the vacuum filter tray reaches a proximity switch that cuts off the vacuum. At this point, the filter tray is quickly returned to its original position by a cylinder, while the filter belt continues to move under the drive of the motor. This cycle repeats continuously, carrying out vacuum filtration, washing, and re-filtration. The filter cake is scraped off and discharged at the discharge roller by a scraper device. The filter cloth is then cleaned and regenerated before passing through a set of support rollers and an alignment system to re-enter the filtration zone. The filtrate is discharged into a collection tank as the filter tray returns.
