Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) refers to the process of analyzing, predicting, and evaluating the potential environmental impacts that may arise after the implementation of a planning project or construction project. It also involves proposing preventive or mitigation measures to reduce negative environmental effects and establishing monitoring methods and management systems. In simple terms, it means assessing the possible environmental impacts after a project is completed and put into operation, and proposing appropriate pollution prevention and control measures.
