When using a vacuum filter, the filter belt tends to shrink after contacting the material. If misalignment occurs during operation, it must be addressed promptly. Typically, belt alignment devices take one of the following three forms:
Pneumatic Sensor Control: The filter belt is controlled on both sides using pneumatic sensors. This system consists of a control unit and an actuator. The control unit includes the pneumatic sensors and an amplifier, while the actuator consists of alignment rollers and cylinders.
Photoelectric Switch Detection: The filter belt is monitored on both sides using photoelectric switches. The actuator is the same as in (1), but the control unit is composed of the photoelectric switches.
Proximity Switch Detection: The filter belt is monitored on both sides using proximity switches. The control unit is executed via limit switches, and the actuator consists of an alignment airbag (or cylinder) and alignment rollers.
